Dear Joel,

I can’t even begin to imagine how all of this has been for you since news broke about these allegations from your past.  The Joel Kramer I got to know both on set and off is full of fun, laughter, friends, creating good memories and at the same time very professional when it is appropriate.  Never once was I uncomfortable around you or unsure if you were going to be disrespectful to me or any other female around. You were always kind and generous.  One thing I admired about you was that you included everyone in on the fun; guys and girls, not “just the guys”.  This often happens in a male dominated industry that we are in.   Sometimes people wrongly mistake “being friendly” for more than what it really is.

It’s unfortunate that these young girls are taking advantage of the “me too” movement to falsely accuse someone like you who has one of the biggest hearts I know.  It would be interesting to hear about any of the other men who are also being falsely accused.  (I’m sure there are many out there and you’re not alone even though Im sure it feels like you are). I respect the movement and think it is important for girls and women to speak out about inappropriate sexual contact but its also important to not “cry wolf” and go after the wrong person/people just to get attention and notoriety.

I’m very thankful for the times you called me to work over the years on numerous shows. It would still be an honor to work for you regardless of the false accusations.  Because they are false and I believe that with all of my heart.

Hang in there JK.  You have so many people who believe in you, who admire you, who love and respect you, who want the best for you and the truth about your innocence to be revealed once and for all.
