I had the pleasure of working for Joel Kramer on the movie True Lies, as Eliza Dushku’s stunt double while the production filmed in south Florida. Joel was professional with me the entire time. And, I never saw any impropriety with Eliza. If I had, you can bet I would have addressed it. Whenever she needed to be in the rigging harness, I was there to assist her. Joel always made sure we felt safe and secure at all times. I never doubted that he had our safety in mind.

Looking at this from another perspective, our children dated. His son Joel, dated my daughter Arielle. She even stayed with Joel and his wife while filming a movie in Wilmington. There is no way I would have allowed her to live with them if I felt uncomfortable with Joel senior. She said he was professional the whole time, and was deeply  focused on the movie.

It bothers me that someone can be automatically found guilty from one accusation. And, to me, her story does not have a strong foundation. If this had really happened, why didn’t her parents confront the issue at the time? Why wait all this time? Why confront Joel through the internet and not directly, or through a lawyer?

Joel, thank you for making my experience on True Lies one of the best memories of my life.
